Continental Shopping Street

Model from tas_1985, found on Google 3D Warehouse. We've just added a couple "Face Me" character and plant billboards and processed the SketchUp scene in LumenRT 1.3 for real-time rendering.

Hai Bian, Interior Designer, Fish Ball Noodle HQ Design

A beautiful LumenRT rendering of the Fish Ball Noodle HQ model from Mr. Thai Little Mars and processed in LumenRT by Hai Bian. Notice the very nice specular highlights he added in the materials. Hai Bian is an interior designer from Shanghai, China and is a SketchUpBBS webmaster.

Xijin Cai, University Laboratory

Here is an outstanding LumenRT rendering done by Xijin Cai of a laboratory facility located within a university in Hangzhou, China. It is an integrated teaching and research laboratory with areas divided into teaching, academic exchange, students practice area, display area, and five offices.

The academic exchange area is equipped with 50 seats to facilitate student exchanges and provides a very good interactive teaching and learning atmosphere.

“E-on’s LumenRT software provides the flexibility and freedom to quickly set up, output, and browse the virtual scene”, said Xijin Cai.  “The high-fidelity output creates a very nice impression and impact”.

Cafe Rosso

This is a slightly modified version of the very nice Cafe Rosso model by Vasfi Bicer found on Google 3D Warehouse. We added some nice black'n'white portraits created with Vue by Fabrice Delage for decoration and sent it through LumenRT to generate a LiveCube. Following are sample shots from the LiveCube. The sun shines in through the windows and light bounces around the scene, taking up a nice warm hue as it goes.

Hotel by Felix

This nice model of a hotel by Felix also found on Google 3D Warehouse was processed by LumenRT in order to generate a real-time LiveCube. Notice the quality of the rendering of water, complete with moving ripples and caustics.

Modern Dining

Here are a few screenshots of a cosy living room found on the Google 3D Warehouse. It was modeled by Surya Murali using SketchUp, and all we did before sending it through LumenRT was add a few decorative elements. Light flows into the room through the window; Notice the quality of indirect lighting.

Cornell Box Revisited

Is light important to your projects? - We think quality and accuracy of lighting is a fundamental requirement of any good architectural visualization. This is why we built LumenRT as a photo-realistic light simulator.

The simple model below (derived from the original Cornell box) shows how indirect light plays a key role in the photo-realistic representation of architectural designs. Notice how LumenRT captures the way light bounces around the different walls and illuminates the central structure with gently varying hues.

Church of the Light

Here is an interesting model from the famous Japanese architect Tadao Ando called Church of the Light. It was authored by Ogura and found on the Google 3D Warehouse. Light enters from behind the altar through a cross cut in the back wall.

The model was loaded into Sketchup and exported to LumenRT, and this is the result! The pre-process took just 10 minutes, and then we were able to navigate and explore the model in real-time as a LumenRT Live Cube.

Barcelona Pavilion

Barcelona Pavilion, originally designed by the German-born architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, was the German building used for the 1929 International Exposition in Barcelona, Spain. We added some textures, furniture, and trees to this Google 3D Warehouse model from Fernando Perez Alvarado and then exported it to LumenRT.

The lighting on this model is quite nice and offers a look at how the outdoor and indoor light blend together to increase realism. We can walk-thru the model in real-time with full illumination and select the best point of view to capture pictures.

The Yacht

This is a simple test using a nice model of a yacht from AtomiK, found on Google 3D Warehouse. We added a nice texture on the deck and rendered it with LumenRT.

Rendered in 0.03 s/frame after pre-processing.
